PROJECTS

The community council of Lania, despite the problems that it faces, has already finished enough projects of infrastructure and embellishment of the community.

Some of these projects are the following:

1. Repair and maintenance of the old municipal school of the community and its transformation into a youth center. The building is built with stones from the region.

2. Paving around the Youth Center. Paving was also done at the big park of the community that includes spaces of green, seats, lighting, playground and lavatories. This park is used for marriages and various other events.

3. Creation of parking places for tourist buses at the entrance of the village.

4. Repair and maintenance of the old police station. The station is an old stone built building with stones from the region. The aim of this work is the transformation of the building into a community library.

The community council has not stopped its efforts in order to change the community into a modern community that would be full of life and visitors.

Some of the projects that are already programmed are also the following:

1. Purchase of an old traditional house and its transformation into a room of multiple uses. In this house the offices of the community council will be accommodated.

2. Replacement of all the water supply pipes.

3. Creation of a sewerage system.
